Careful Sonny, don't put too much shiny stuff on it or it wont be an ASSAULT rifle anymore.  ;)
I think I see a rip in the social fabric, Brother can you spare some ammo?

I was thinking of welding a steak knife to the barrel cause it needs a bayonet.

Right? 8)

Ok this thread was fun....for a little bit but...

I really did put a scope on my AR 15 and yes it does look good..

It's a Sun Optics compact 3x9x40...

I don't know if I would put this scope on my main "hunting rig" but hey...The ar 15 is only a range gun so it don't really need a top of the line scope. It just needs something other than blurry peep sites, yes it's my old eyes..lol

Will post results when I can get out to the range but it needs to warm up a bit first.. ;)

I have a Leupold VXR 3-9x40 illuminated reticicle on mine. It works well.

Right on Doug...what kind of groups are you getting at 100 yards?

Plus...200 yards??

It varies from 1"-2" depending on the ammo at 100 yards. I haven't tried anything but factory ammo in it so far, but have some reloads ready to go.

1"-2" is pretty darn good.. ;)

With peep sites I was getting 4"-6" but my eyes would get all blurry with the peeps after about 20 rounds or so..

Still good enough for zombies lol but I think this rifle is capable of much much better..

Hopefully next days off will be warmer and I'll be able to give it a proper workout..

That Remi does seem to be pretty accurate.
