My search is over , I just received my Model 700 Mountain ss in 280 Remington .Also purchased a Leupold VXI 2x7 for a scope , now waiting for the rings and bases. Hopefully I will develope a handload by the end of summer. Interestingly has a 9.25 twist rate . This will be my deer rifle and love the feel of this rifle . Any recomendations for a 140gr handload ?

Nice purchase deputy,, no secret on how much we like the .280,, anyone I have see has been a heck of a shooter,, enjoy..

Give me barrel length bullet you wish to shoot and powder of choice also need your overall length.  And I will run some numbers for ya.

Thanks Jimmy, barrel is 22 inches and powder will be RL 19 or RL 15. Any info is greatly appreciated.
