These 1911's are built like a tank and mine performs flawlessly.I've put 350 rounds through it and only had one failure to feed.

And they are a great bargain too.Handgun plus 500 rounds of ammo for only $449. but they are currently out of stock.

I know some of the purists here will thumb their noses at these but if someone wants a good functioning 1911 in the hard hiting .45 then this might be the handgun for you.

Anyway I love mine. ;)

Look at this Colt 1911A1. 45 ACP, Stamped ............Made 1941. US Army, Property of the US Gov't

I bought it years ago. I traced the serial number to a Army base in Texas. That is where it was first issued. Pretty cool.

I have a few war time milsurps..Mosin nagants (3) Tokarev tt33 (1942) 1943 longbranch 1933 enfield  revolver..

But you know it's weird...My 1942 Mosin nagant 91/30 is haunted

I know it sounds crazy but when I hold it in my hands I have a sad feeling come over me..The battle of Stalingrad was raging in 1942 and I'm sure this rifle seen some scary stuff.

I need to sell this rifle...I like guns but not this one.. :o :o

Yup that is weird for sure.

I still have a K98. It has all the Nazi markings. Including the swastikas and eagles. Most of these milsurp rifles the Nazi stamps were ground off. I also have 2  US Model 1917's, a FR8, and a Mark 3 #1, that's all I have left.

I used to shoot a lot, not much no more. Most of the above rifles just sit there and have not been shot in years. Sad eh? Just don't have the heart to sell em. Guess my son will end up with em.

This one is my favourite I use it as my camp gun.

I don't really care for the finish on this one but still a heck of a good deal.  ;)

I am very impressed with the fit and finish on these SAM Thunderbolts too. I would like to find one in stainless.
