This was last summer with my .303 Savage with the Lyman 1A tang sight. Shooting 30 grains of IMR 3031 and a 170 grain Sierra flat point. Best i can do at 100 yards. Im 43 in a couple weeks and dont wear glasses. Definitley might have to try some load development. 30 grains of IMR 3031 and a 170 grainer is a go to load for any and all my .30-.30's i have ever owned and groups were tighter but with a scope. Bore is awfully dark in that old girl as well.....

Hey we should have an iron sight shoot off..
I just bought a sporterized Lee Enfield from a buddy and dang does it ever group good.

I also have a 1953 Swiss K31 and with a good rest and GP 11 ammo she shoots really nice.
