Last weekend I picked up a Remington Mohawk 600 in .308 at the Drayton Valley gun show.
It's a sweet little rifle and shoots darn good too however... It was wearing a black synthetic Ram-Line stock which broke on me..
I had it out at the range sighting in a Burris scope that I put on it and well after awhile as you all know the barrel heats up an your groups go south. So I leaned the rifle up against a chair with the action open so the wind could cool it down.
Well a gust of wind came up and the rifle fell over and hit the cement. You can see by the pic what happened..
This would not have happened to a wood stock.Anyway I ordered a pepper laminate stock from Boyds.
Taxes, shipping, dollar exchange ect and the bill came to $248,not cheap but it's a damn good looking stock.
I'll post a pic when it gets here.
