Squires Bingham P14 22 LR .....broken extractor .

  This is an old familly gun , always worked great . Not
   extracting spent casing properly ....One extractor
    looks great , other pretty worn ....any idea where
     One might get parts in the Calgary area .   Thnx

I had a Squires Bingham .22 wmr back in the 70's..Yes sir one shot in the head and the coon fell out of the tree.(Ontario)

One problem tho..Every casing had to be extracted with a knife blade. Yup the extractors were junk right from the get go.
Sold that piece of crap..

Sorry but I have no idea where you can find parts for it..Western gun parts maybe?

Thnx Sonny ....weird thing is it extracts , live rounds like a
 Dream . It shoots great I was 5 for 5 on the snow gophers
  yesterday ...

   In your opinion  what is currently the best quality to price
    22  ,that my 8 yr. old grandson will enjoy ,

Oh everyone has their own preference when it comes to .22's and I have owned a few over the years.
Some like the Ruger 10/22 but I think the Remington 597 is more accurate.I also like my Marlin XT bolt action. ;)

Hey W101, how about a little Marlin or Henry Lever. It is an excellent little 22. Bit more money, but one of those guns he will keep and hand down to his kids. My kids love shooting the little Marlin lever I have. Course I'm a tad bit fond of lever guns.
