New in Box, NEVER fired Mossberg 835 Slugster. 24" rifled barrel, camo. Takes 2 3/4", 3", And 3 1/2" shells. Factory scope mount ready and has sling swivels. I did a lot of research before buying this and if you want a slug gun for hunting, this is the best choice I could find. Every review I read was glowing.
I bought this gun in Feb. of 2012 from Milarm in Edmonton for my wife. At the time here in AB there were starting to be BP/shotgun seasons in our neck of the woods. In anticipation of the rumoured expanded seasons the gun was purchased, as despite my best efforts, wife has no interest in muzzleloaders. We chose to wait until the new drawbook came out to confirm the rumoured seasons to fire it. Unfortunately the rumoured seasons did not materialize; further, existing seasons were cancelled.
We hung onto the gun for another year just in case, but the new drawbooks are out and there's no return to the muzzleloader/shotgun seasons in the forseeable future.
All we've done with this gun is clean it and run an oiled patch through the barrel. It has never been fired, it is new. Since I understand mossberg does not make the 3.5" model anymore, this is likely your only chance at a new one $485.00 shipped.
I also have 3 different brand boxes/sizes of slugs we'd bought to see which it liked best. Make you a hell of a deal on them as we have no use for them.

I may trade it for a .54 flintlock, preferably a lyman deerstalker; would also take a martini enfield in 303 and am always a sucker for winchester 94's in .32 or 30wcf.
