2011 Archery Tackle
« on: August 09, 2011, 09:28:29 AM »
So what's everyone using for Archery gear this fall.  Also let us know what is your favourite piece of gear is.

Ross Crave 31.5 70#/28" Dl
Darkhorse 340 Studs with 100 gr 2-Blade Rage (cut to 27" and weighing in at 406 grains)
Blazer Vanes
Montana Black Gold Red Zone Ste (5 pin)
Quiver TBD (sold mine with a used bow last month LOL)
Cobra Caliper Release (bought in 1995 and has over 60 big game kills to its credit)
Trophy Taker Drop Zone Rest
Eberlestock Bow Backpack
Kenetrek Mountain Boots
Doinker Stab
Various Camo
Bushnell Elite Rangefinder with ARC
Scorpion 10X42 Binos
Pocketful of Alberta Tags
Various knives
Butt Out (great tool)

My favourite piece of equipment has to be my Eberlestock Bow Backpack as it frees up my hands while hiking to and from my humting areas. As I mostly spot and stalk for Mule Deer, the backpack has definitely improved my comfort while hiking around the foothills. It is also a great way to carry your bow when travelling on a quad.

Love to see the Ibex in snow Camo - Just sounds like a cool looking bow!!  A lot of knockdown power in those set-ups.

Hey how do you like your Relik sight? Love Athens accessories, their Zen quiver has caught my eye a number of times. Only thing I wonder about the quiver is if the built in tree hanger rattles at all when on the bow over time.

I love the Rellik sight, especially cause you can custom order, pins, and camo. I have it on all three my bows.

The quiver is awesome, so far it doesn't rattle at all, the hook is super easy and super helpful.

Thanks for the insight on the Athens goodies! Those guys seem to have a real eye for producing some unique, well machined, made accesories!

Great looking bow!!  Hope to give it a try sometime this year.  How do you like the limbdriver rest?  Does it make any noise when shooting?

Limbdriver rest is the old Pro and has been flawless on the last two bows I ve owned and continues to perform on the DZ-32. I think that the limb driven activation of this rest makes it the most tuner friendly rest out there! Love it!

I had the 2009 maxxis 31 in 70# in the bone collector edition.  Great bow!  I am liking the 60# Ross Crave 33.5 i shoot today as well.  Both great shooters.  Good luck this season.
