My repair bill was a mere $11.50 . Hopefully the mend holds up . Will keep ya posted since i plan on using them for 3 days this week scouting Sheep country.

I have the Mountain Extreme model. I like them fine but, they are a little tight on the side of my feet and they are a size 11 wide. I find that they do not grip well when wet. All in All a good boot though. They seem tough enough for what I do.

From the time I started with the
rock climbing course
in Mountain Skills Academy, I am using Kenetrek Boots. Its leather uppers are very thick so as to work well with all climates. I have the one with Thinsulate Insulation that provides warmth without the bulk.
