Yes i am mostly pumped about my sons first Bull Moose. I will only take a Whitey if its wall worthy, but i have been strictly told there are no Big Deer where i have hunted for years. . Makes me laugh how this guy is able to tell me what i saw or did not see even though he resides in the South..We will be busy and the freezers full providing they all get filled. We tend to cross paths with Moose and Elk every year so thats encouraging. I took a 330 Bull Elk in 2007. We saw one last Fall that made him look small. Snap Shot and Weste good luck to ya'all as well. Its a good thing we put off my BC buddies draw for his Bull Moose until next year.
good to hear the insanity of herd reductions may be slowing down. that was just dumb.
you tell em springer! them southern guys dont know anything.....heck i bet them guys down there have never even taken a good deer ever so wouldnt know one if it kicked them. you know what they say.....trophy is in the eye of the shooter, so if you say hes big then thats all that matters. heck, if i remember right your crew all shot giants last fall. that whitetail you got was in the top 10 all time wasnt it? its too bad you couldnt have tagged a few of them mulies you told us about. i love looking at field photos of 200 inch plus bucks. i wish i could do that well, but i guess i dont have the right friends pointing me in the right direction. i gotta cozy up to a biologist or something so i can get the inside track on where the best trophies live. then id have a better chance at a giant.
Man thats gonna be a sweet season!!!!Thanks Trev. We have a great time there every year.
Spring turkey.... Hi BullShooter, the best guy in the world!... 308 Antlered Mule Deer..... Always fun to watch for the big non typicals and have a bull elk walk out. Now to draw a prairie and mountain goat tag.... Best draw of all for me this fall is a horse back ride in for general sheep. Still not sure how I won that one, but THANKS!
