Yes i am mostly pumped about my sons first Bull Moose. I will only take a Whitey if its wall worthy, but i have been strictly told there are no Big Deer where i have hunted for  years.  ::). Makes me laugh how this guy is able to tell me what i saw or did not see even though he resides in the South..
We will be busy and the freezers full providing they all get filled.  We tend to cross paths with Moose and Elk every year so thats encouraging. I took a 330 Bull Elk in 2007. We saw one last Fall that made him look small. Snap Shot and Weste good luck to ya'all as well.
Its a good thing we put off my BC buddies draw for his Bull Moose until next year.

I have some good friends that homestead in that area...mostly 232... They seem to never have a problem tippin over 160 whitetail... Cant wait to see picture of your season this year... Still some good bull moose coming out of those 2 zones if you know where to look...

If you dont mind me asking what priority were you guys on your moose draws.... I was going back and forth with my p5 on 232 for about a week...and never entered it..

i have a mule buck tag this year, but ill be trying hard to help robin get hers first.    havent got the word yet, but i should have an archery stinkgoat tag too.  the only tag i didnt get that i thought i likely would was girl sheep....meh, whatever.

good to hear the insanity of herd reductions may be slowing down.  that was just dumb.

you tell em springer!  them southern guys dont know anything.....heck i bet them guys down there have never even taken a good deer ever so wouldnt know one if it kicked them.  you know what they say.....trophy is in the eye of the shooter, so if you say hes big then thats all that matters.  heck, if i remember right your crew all shot giants last fall.  that whitetail you got was in the top 10 all time wasnt it?  its too bad you couldnt have tagged a few of them mulies you told us about.  i love looking at field photos of 200 inch plus bucks.  i wish i could do that well, but i guess i dont have the right friends pointing me in the right direction.  i gotta cozy up to a biologist or something so i can get the inside track on where the best trophies live.  then id have a better chance at a giant.

Sounds like it.  I know some guys that did not get drawn for 108 whitetail does even though they have given out multiple tags for quite a few years now.  Its about time it slowed down!!

youve been trying hard to start a fight for a while now.  im not sure where you get yer facts from, but you need to study more.  to start, i told you when you posted pics of your deer that the whitetail you shot was good.  i didnt say it as your clan was happy with the deer they shot and i stand by it that thats all that matters is they are happy, but you are pushing it so ill go ahead and say it now.....they arent impressive to me. of the other deer there the best was a mid 140s whitey....sorry that doesnt impress me.

as far as your bio buddy...well i did know more than him about the area he lives in when we discussed the cwd fiasco.  well actuall, my guess is he likely knows better than what he is allowed to say on the interweb, but his job prevents him from speaking the truth.  there are many in srd that are dead against the cwd cull program, but have to publicly show support as their paycheck depends on it.  and as i said in the cwd topic, trophy quality is not the reason i was against it....it was shane that kept bringing up the idea......but why let the facts get in the way of a good story.  as far as your trophy eye...well, your idea and mine of what makes something big is not the same.  doesnt make you wrong, doesnt make me wrong....just different.  if you wanna mount a 165 mule buck by all means go ahead, and ill tell you congrats.....just like i did last year.

now, a case of small mans syndrome?  you gotta be joking?  i think ive put up enough pics to put that silly little thought to rest.  i guess if 6'1" 215 is small, once again we have different opinions on what big is.

and finally, if you want to try to insult someones intelligence, you should get not only your facts straight, but maybe try using the spellcheck feature.  i dont nitpick spelling and grammar, but when you make such a feeble attempt at an insult as to bring up jobs in a line that has more than 3 mistakes in it....well it kinda shows who the genius is....   see if you can figure out where you goofed.  ill give you an hour before i point it out for you.   :o

Great Speech again !! Whats your secret?? Do you practice your speeches in front of the mirror !!
So you shot some big Deer from the seat of your Truck !! Ooh makes you smarter than everyone else automatically.Like educated Biologists !!
Now your having a temper tantrum over spelling errors , is my hour up ??? oh my , what if i am late ..ooooh the wrath of the armchair internet Bully.
Man there is no fooling the Deer whisperer...
I bet  you always get picked last in school sports to ???? Is that why your upset , poor ISB ,and your still in Love with Yourself !! Congratulations ..
I bet its a real BIG Truck you drive to.....with an extra big door to get your swollen head through....

i guess you arent smart enough to catch all the mistakes as you did it again. you asked another question, so ill answer again.  i have palyed 2 sports at the semi pro level, so no....getting picked last didnt happen.

your intelligence and maturity is shining through.  i actually gave you a little more credit over on the other site, but its becoming clear now.....

good luck this season, and when you post up your crews 140 inch whitetails and 40 inch moose ill offer congratulations just as i did before.  you guys have fun.

You would have done better Dale if you would have "PLAYED" them sports instead of "PALYED" them.  ;)

My buddy just called me and confirmed that he has late season moose in 350..  Wooohoo....looks like I am moose guide again.  Get this though.....his wife had the audacity to book a week in Mexico for them starting Nov 11.  I heard him yelling at her....."who the hell books a vacation during hunting season"  and "can we cancel it"...lol.
I think I see a rip in the social fabric, Brother can you spare some ammo?

Spring turkey.... ;D  Hi BullShooter, the best guy in the world!... ;)

308 Antlered Mule Deer..... Always fun to watch for the big non typicals and have a bull elk walk out.

Now to draw a prairie and mountain goat tag....

Best draw of all for me this fall is a horse back ride in for general sheep. Still not sure how I won that one, but THANKS!  8)

LOL... I just came across your post WB!  ;D ;D ;D

Give me a call and I will do my best to set you up.

I managed to draw a bull moose and antlered mule deer in my area. Hopefully I will have both the patience and opportunity to take these with my bow.

hey dummy....go back and read it again.  i said the whitetail you got was good, but the rest of your gang shot small bucks.  the issue that started it was you saying you saw 3 B&C mule deer bucks in 234 on the edge of the eco reserve.  thats where i called bs and i stand by it.  there isnt a zone in alberta that holds 3 book mules.....anywhere, not just 234.

tell me again how you saw them.....i need a laugh today......or keep running your yap from the safety of the keyboard.  either way you just keep making yourself look more and more juvenile.

oh, and by the way.....ill be in 234 from oct 20-23 as an older guy i know drew a cow moose tag and could use some help loading it if he gets lucky.  if you want to get together for a beer let me know.  i promise i can make time for you.  it would be nice to share a few laughs.  ill send you my phone number if youre in.

You must know 234 better  than anyone who lives and hunts there ,should be no problem having a Cow Moose down in the first 5 minutes of legal light...
