2012 Regulations
« on: May 23, 2012, 02:08:45 PM »
Looks like the Draw book is online but there is no new 2012 Regulation book.  The draw book has new changes for draws but I was wanting to see the over all bird and General hunting changes.  Hopefully it will be out soon.  There are a few things I am hoping for in the bird regs to change this year

Just got my email notification this morning about the online draw application.  I think it is only going to be online this year for anyone with an email that is registered with Alberta RELM.  Don't forget to notify all your buddies as there will not be a draw booklet sent out this year to us online folks.

That's what sparked my interest today Axe.  I was hoping they had the regulations out as well.  Weird they wouldn't bring out the draw book and the regs at the same time.

Heck, I'm just happy the draw book's available so we can start making plans.

Aww, who am I fooling, got the email about noon we've already got our plans pretty much set.  Just have to talk to son to see if he wants anything in particular for draws with us or has his own plans.

Would've liked to see a m/l season, but no go, so I think I'll just hunt locally in Nov. with either a flintlock or a percussion.  Either way, it's patched roundball for me.  Wife's not into the m/l so we have a never fired mossy dedicated sluggun soon to be for sale if anyone's interested.

Possesion limits will be the same Matt as I don't think there were any changes wanted to be made on that.  They wanted a crane season again this year and also to be able to use dark decoys with an e-caller which is what I want.  I think if I can e-call and use dark decoys the Specks are going to get BEAT HARD this year.
