No draws for me :(

I've had good luck in the past so I guess I was due for a year of hunting in open areas.

Congrats Sonny, wife didn't get mule buck, but she Did get Wainwright, so it'll be a family affair with son present.   ;D

Last second I decided to put in for WT doe as well and got lucky (really so I've got something to hunt in Nov., plus just in case I get the new flinter figured and dialed in consistantly (well, I'm certain the rifle's just fine, more a case of getting Me dialed in to the flintlock ;) )).

So for us it'll be wife's cow hunt in Sept., moose late Sept/early Oct, wife doe tags, me trying to sneak up nice and close in Nov, and Wainwright in Dec.

Busy year but we had the priority and I told the wife, "We're not getting any younger".

The boy got his 525 bull moose tag,, we were sure he would he was priority 6. So we will do that beginning of Oct and the rest we will be doing our usual whiteail hunts around the home grounds and hopefully get in a few goose shoots this fall as well.

Hopefully get I to an elk while we are in 525 sure was some decent sign of them around there that's for sure,, here's to hoping.

The draw summary report really shows how hard many tags are going to be to get in the future. Our mule deer zone is up to a 4 year wait, used to be 1. We did draw a bunch of doe tags and 3 mule bucks within our group (south zones), also a couple January Suffield cow tags on 0 priority. I personally did not get anything but does, a few draws i thought were a sure thing  this year didn't pan out. We are going to be waiting longer and longer for many licenses.

Got my moose tag after 11yrs in a big zone that now only has 3 moose tags in it.
I hunt sheep to see over the next mountain not to measure the next trophy!

Good on the draw that's a long wait.

3 tags in a big zone will that be like hunting  a unicorn?

Got my moose tag 2 years in a row now.  Had a 60% chance to get it and it worked in my favor.  Fun part is that it is on my trapline so I can trap while I am looking for a bullwinkle.  With any luck I will be able to snare a few wolves off the kill site lol

I'm going to work on it and see if I can get a couple this year.  I got a lot to learn about catching them and learning my line.  When I get it figured out it is all out war on them :o
