Better late than never to put up a pic i guess. Here is Dad's bull taken on opening day of calling season. Spotted a huge bull before this one however we couldnt close the distance and seal the deal. However a mile over this guy was strolling thru the cut block. After 15 minutes of trying to show dad the bull moose in the open (not the best eyes) I eventually stood behind him, pointed his rifle and he aquired the bull. He quickly anchored him. Couple tense moments but a my trusty fake antler, wind on our side and some convincing moose calls kept him on the spot till dad sealed the deal. After he was done it was a race against time to gut, skin, and get him into the butcher. Peak temp for that day was +24C. I must say that moose is like butter on every piece I have tried.
