We got our 2 moose tags this year. Now to find a couple, shouldn’t be to hard in the area we are headed, now count the days lol.

Got my antlerless moose draw for the farm too. Neighbor got his again too so we are on again this year with the sabot shotguns.
Pretty much a guarantee, last year we got one on our own quarter.

My brother and I both drew turkey, wife drew bull moose and I pulled a Antlered mule deer tag as well in same zone as moose draw for shits and giggles.
Surprised I didn’t get my trophy lope draw in 150-152 with a P11 going into the draw.
My dads old consultant buddies drew 3 moose tags 3 antlered elk tags and 2 antlered mule deer tags in neighbouring zone. Going to be full throttle this fall.

Nada but we knew it would be, the boy and I threw a hail Mary at Camp Wainwright as it would build points too and give us a chance lol. 999 the rest. In a couple years the boy will have enough points and we will be equal on a lot of draws, Ant Elk, T Antelope, Mule Buck and then moose again. Looking forward to that.
I have been helping friends develop an old mobile home site for camping on a quarter of land they inherited. It backs onto a larger pond that's a good 10 ft deep with this years rain and bush surrounds the 2 farm fields in the middle, so me thinks I got some exclusive access and a very good deer hunting spot now. I suspect I will have some pissed off locals who have had their way with this property over the years of hunting seasons since no one lived there for years. But, a new gate is going in soon to keep the riff raff out and so the farmer who rents the land don't have idiots driving over his canola swaths and I will have a key
Time to buy some cams and get them on a couple major game trails.

I 999'd everything because I have a BC mountain Goat hunt Sept 1 to 10. Put my wife in for a few things with her being a couple years out to get them, she didn't get any of those BUT she did manage to pull a mid-November random draw 438 sheep tag, so it looks like my whitetail hunting isn't going to happen this year because we will be chasing rams in Cadomin for 10 days. Ive already booked a guide for it, so now I have to find the extra 6k to pay for it somehow lol. If I didn't give her the best chance I could (ie spending money on a guide with horses etc), I know I would have regretted it.
