Draws are in.... Waiting game begins.
« on: June 06, 2013, 06:55:27 AM »
Now the waiting and wishful thinking begins.  On a side note one of my customers ( who doesn't hunt) found some pretty good sheds on his land ... I'm working on him for permission( got to get past the Mrs.'s). But the one buck is a true trophy.

Sorry for the crappy I- phone pic , but I think you get the jist of the quality buck.

"I have a 4 year old daughter who has a rare disease and can only eat deer meat...could I possibly hunt deer on your land?" ;)

I reckon she couldn't say no and would offer you coffee and apple pie for that little white lie.  Well maybe a grey lie.

Hmm. Never tryed that one before.... I ussually just extort them by fixing the A/C  in their tractors, then Promptly ask for permission while they are enjoying the cool...  It works 9 out of 10 times lol.

A/C has become a "necessity" apparently and so it would swing some weight.
In Alberta sometimes it is heater in the morning and A/C by noon.

It is sometimes hard to explain to a "non-hunter" that you would like to hunt for a BIG BUCK that they have never seen and probably never will see.
