Never to late to fill that tag, I have never hunted the wmu's in question but i do know keep at it and it will happen. Always easier when there is a little snow on the ground.
Good luck with you tag

Basically where to start. Hunting elk is new to me, I'm just looking for one to fill the freezer. What tactics should I use, I am not looking for anyones honey hole just a point in the right direction. It has been hard for me to get out and scout due to my work schedule.

Thanks
