Fawn In Distress

Setting up decoys in filed this deer was not impressed. 



The set up



Called in lots of deer but no coyotes fawn bleat worked just need to add the coyotes I have a feeling the thunderstorms and rain were not helping me.

I reckon there wasn't a coyote in ear-shot.


Some years back I was deer hunting and in a cut-block I saw some wolves running and some white-tail flagging on the run.  I got set up and blew a fawn distress call.  Two wolves ran toward me and I whittled them down.  With my Savage 99 in .300 sav.

seeing the way the deer reacted to it should work pretty good on things with teeth.
