Like many others you have been misled. LOTS of the people claiming to have been "ripped off" are buddies of one particular guy that had a bone to pick with me years ago and got all his buddies to sing the same tune as him. I know this for 2 reasons: First of all I know darn well who was involved in the mistakes I DID make (many of the people that claim to be involved I have never heard of) and second, I have spoken face to face with guys that have been asked by 1 of 2 individuals over at AO to jump on the bandwagon and claim to have been "ripped" off.

So when I say that what you are being led to believe is false I mean it. I am the first one to admit that I made a lot of mistakes in my younger days but much of what is being said is fiction created by a select few over there and bought into by the masses.

Believe me, don't believe me, its really of no consequence to me. I don't need the approval of anybody on any website to continue to thrive in my business.

Paul & Axe are decent fellas and I respect the way they have handled this garbage so far. If either of you fellas would rather I not post anything here anymore simply say the word and I won't ever post another word here. Theres FAR more important things in life than internet drama.

You know Chris when you first joined the forum I didn't know who you were or what your background was like.Sure there were a lot of stories going around but I decided to give you the benefit of a doubt.

Now I feel dirty for doing so and I hope the other members can forgive me.

Well its not that simple,, some of us know the site owner and know the values he stands for and we darn well know he doesn't stand for this type of person.. He was just giving the guy the benefit of the doubt..

I for one am not going to stop posting on here because an ars is on here lol, one would never even bother logging on to the interweb at all if you wanted to stay away from arses..

We certainly did discuss this issue for a long time between us as moderators.  We have a great site owner in Paul and his generous efforts in providing a site with freedom of speech without excessive moderation was getting trampled on with a lot of disrespect by many.  That is so sad and a bunch of you guys really owe him an apology for trampling on Alberta Sportsman because of a member that posted on here.  None of us even know him (Chris) personally or even have anything to do with him.

What do we do when we set out simple rules and allow freedom to all to defend their thoughts, which applies to everyone.  Do we compromise that principle just because of someone who brings a history of conflict from another forum?  It came to a point where we mods were personally being blamed for allowing Chris to post on this site.  It was becoming Alberta Sportsman's fault for the accusations against him.
Do some of you guys expect us to be detectives to search out all the alleged wrong doings of members and ban them because of actions not even remotely associated with this forum?  Think about it.

I have lost a lot of respect for so many that I thought were decent guys.  I have seen that many people post on forums just to add to the drama no matter what the facts are and that goes for both sides on this particular matter. 

Bon Jovi, you are the epitome of turning this issue around and blaming AS.  I am so glad Paul banned you too.  Some others are almost as bad but their previous good contributions convinced us that those individuals just had a lapse in judgement.

Finally, before you even think that I am defending Chris in some manner, I will say simply that I don't know the guy, never had dealings with him, and have stayed out of all the controversy. 
Chris, you must understand, from our point of view, that your reputation is just too toxic for our forum as witnessed by this mess of a thread.  People are turning that against this good forum and there is nothing we can do to stop that. 

Fellow sportsman, please think about this and let's get this forum back on track and cut the drama and talk about what really matters and that is our sport.  PM me if you think we as mods were somehow responsible for you staying away from this site.  I would be happy to discuss.
