If you were to pick a WMU where it was bow season general tag for moose in the northern half of the province, what WMU would you pick and why?

Although it is not truely a general bow season for moose, I would pick 539.  Mostly because I know the zone and there has been undersubscribed tags available every year since I can remember.  We hunt 70 kms from the closest road so its pretty good hunting.  We hunt during the rifle season but restrict ourselves to bow because it makes it a little more challenging.  A few pics of some of the moose we have harvested in that zone.

I would have to say 510 Chris if I was going to go for general archery. When I did have time to bowhunt, I spent a couple late Septembers there, and it was nothing to call a couple bulls a day to bow range. I took a customer there for a bowhunt and called him a 60" bull to 20 yards, he missed, but that's another story. Also bumped into a few elk there while moose hunting as well.

When I lived in Strathcona county there were a few moose around, even got chased by a rutting bull across a hayfield as I was walking to my treestand lol

I hunted in 536 years ago, and would love to go into remote parts of 539 someday.  I am going to do some hunting in 248 and hopefully I can anchor a moose of any sorts.  I have seen a lot of moose over the years in 510 too, but want to stick closer to home, or a bit west of city if I can.

Any great archery zones down south?  Moved from the north to the south and I know how good the north is but what about the south.  Any suggestions?

Cheers.
