witnessed the weirdest thing today while fishing minniwanka!!  We watched a band of sheep come down off the mountain and grab a drink at the lake . After they were done drinking the walked up into the camp ground and were milling about when we notice a ram with his head in the fire pit ?? WTF

So we decided to put the boat on shore and get in for a closer look !! these sheep were eating the coals out of a fire pit that some people had just put out ?? They were pawing the logs around and digging right to the bottom of the pit .. I got some really good pics of them doing this !!  Has anyone else witnessed any thing like this before??

Weird is what I think.  I was there today at the lake and saw 3 rams.  No pics.  2 were legal.  First time to lake Minewanka.  I thought the lake was bigger than that. 

Heck,,, I thought you guys said those things are hard to hunt !!! Shoot all a guy has to do is build a fire,, let it die out and wollah sheep bait.. Seems pretty simple to me,,, no ?
