Hunter Host Wanted
« on: March 28, 2012, 08:52:18 PM »
We're looking for a 'hunter host' for hunting in Alberta.  We would love to come up and do some moose or deer hunting but we would also love to hunt all big game including elk, bear, etc.  We live in N. Idaho and it's not too far to the border for us.  We are legal, ethical hunters with a huge passion for the outdoors and we're looking for a new adventure.  Cant really afford guides.  If anyone is interested, message or email me.  Thanks!  Tony

Not making any commitments here but my 3 boys and I have been thinking about spring Turkey in Idaho in the next couple years possibly we could do a couple swap hunts, Whitetail, maybe spring Bear for a Turkey hunt.

Just a question, why would you leave Idaho and come to Alberta for Elk,, I would think it should be the other way around..

Used to hunt Idaho when I was younger (About 15 years ago) and the elk were everywhere in Idaho. My two brothers have gone back the last couple years and never could find an elk in the spots that used to be crowded with them. Only had wolves responding to bugles.

I was going to talk to my brothers about doing a turkey hunt down there as I went on one before I moved away and was a blast. Wish I had bought a lifetime hunting license before moving.
