Hunting africa
« on: March 13, 2017, 02:41:11 AM »
Anyone been lucky enough to hunt Africa?
It's been a dream of mine since childhood unfortunately reality and adult priorities have prevented me thus far but the dream is far from dead and occupies my mind frequently.
Ideally I would like to do it right and go for a minimum of two weeks.(two months in a perfect world)
I also want a old school fairchase, unfenced, sleeping in the bush without modern conveniences type of experience if I went.
Lion and elephant are at the top of my wish list but elephant will never be attainable short of winning the lotto.
I am interested in all the game Africa has to offer but am definitely drawn more to dangerous game and the big five of course.
And how awesome would a 16+ foot 1500+lb Croc be!
Anyways let's hear your experiences good and bad if your one of the few lucky s.o.b's who have been.
If you were a r.c.m.p member involved with high river you are a disgrace to the uniform and a traitor to the citizens of this country.

I like to go. Water buffalo would be top of my list. One day maybe when I am retired.

So much to choose from over there. It's not expensive to hunt the problem is getting your trophies home and mounted, that's where the expense comes in I think.

I hope you both get to live out your dreams, what it all worth if we can't fulfill those dreams boys.

I would go with a Water Buffalo.

And.

Notley and her cohorts remind me of those huge African Vultures. :)

Or.....a pack of Hyenas. ;)

Those critters do the same as she does to taxpayers. :)

Ya had to do that eh! Here I was enjoying the idea that one day I might get there, and you remind me that my retirement money is being used up by that #$@^&% old #*&^%$ cow.  ;)
