I'm sittin here in my stand overlooking a pil of rubs & scrapes and Im bored outta my mind lol. Everybody else is at work so I don't even have anybody to bs with lol.

Heres a picture of the view from my stand. I'm just over half a mile in the bush, this is a 150 yard natural clearing thats covered in scrapes & rubs. So far all Ive seen is a couple does about 8:30 and a 140 ish 4x4 cruised through a couple hours ago.

Lets see some of you guys' views.

If your bored too send me a text lol. 780-843-5338

I will send some pics after I get out next week.  Right now my view is this computer screen. Apparently hunting season is not considered a Stat Holiday or so they tell me.

Sonny you should get yourself a ladder stand. They are super easy to climb for you old farts ;) and real comfy to sit in.

Sorry to hear your stuck at work Sport, I'll post a bunch of pictures to help you get through it lol.

Heres tnites set. 1/2 mile from the road on an inside 1/4. This 1/4 is bordered on 3 sides by big bush and by a worked up 1/4 on the west. Again the only access is through the owners yard, nobody else can hunt here. Last couple times I sat here there was 15 or so does and 3 bucks: a fork, a lil 3x3 and a 150ish 5x5.

Nice view.  I am itching to get out there.  Just got some permission I have been after for a couple years in 248 so very excited.  There are some restrictions attached but I am more than happy to comply. Counting the days.

Its been an interesting morning. Last night I sat til dark and saw 3 bucks. A spike, a 140ish 4x4 and a very nice, mature, heavy horned 155ish 5x5. Not a single doe which is REALLY weird for this spot. Usually theres a pile of does. Snuck in in the dark this morning and watches the same 3 bucks plus 2 more in the 130s make their way back to bedding. All the does are MIA 2 days in a row now. Very odd. Gonna try and line the wife up on the 5x5 tnite.

Bring yer pop up tent with you next month. Too bad I wasnt thinking ahead, I should have got you to bring it up at Thanksgiving. I could have had it all set up and ready to go for you.

Not from a tree stand but here is a nice view from a place I spent some time the other day.  I didn't have my rattling antlers or I would have done some rattling here.  Next time.
