there are those who hunt for horns and those who hunt for hamburger... i prefer to share my hunting stories with the latter ... makes for a better story.... great hunt... great bull...  a trophy in my eyes

Sure can tell the size difference between those mountain bulls and the northern boreal bulls eh..

Yah he looks kind of runty compared to the other bulls posted on here. Probably wasn't any more than 2 years old.

Thanks man. I have a set of mounted sheds in my trophy room and a 54" rack  bleached out in the back yard so I didn't really need another trophy. I'm gonna pick up my meat from the butcher this afternoon should be good.

Boy I don't know about that. By the antler growth I would put him closer to 4 1/2 myself.. Just a small bodied animal I would say. A 2 year old would just be starting to paddle out in growth this fellow is well on his way..

But dandy animal either way..

Here's a better view of his rack, maybe not 4 1/2 but I'm far from a moose expert.
