Morning Field Shoot
«

Got out this morning in some corn stubble for geese
It was pretty cold with the wind chill at -24 but we managed to get a couple birds
Was my first time in a layout blind so my shooting was a bit off due to the new experience but had a blast.

Looks awesome! Nice birds. I've really got to try a field shoot one of these falls.

yup for sure
I kept 4 birds and breasted them out
Got 7 1/2 pounds of meat from them which is just right when adding a little pork for a batch of sausages
