Got out for a couple hours yesterday in the fields for birds with my son and a couple other "new to waterfowling bird hunters"
My Luke is a pretty tired man as we tried some canal jumping and checked a few ponds on the way out as well
The hunting was slow as it seems the birds aren't here yet in great numbers.
There were a couple first birds down for the new guys and whole lot of fun for all.
Today is goose sausage making day!!
