Congrats on the Bison and congrats on getting drawn even. My Buddy Shane got one this year on a partner tag. After they finally caught up to a Bison and shot it the herd would not leave, next morning they sledded back in for the other half and the Bison were still there!!

Congrats and that does look like an awesome hunt those are some big animals.  How many shots to put him down or was it a 1 shot kill?  I just ask because i know they are tough as nails.

I hit him twice once low on the run. My cousin then called the range out with his geovds. I adjusted and as the bull slowed I hit him real hard through both shoulders and doubled lunged him. He got sick quick and tipped over in 10 seconds. There was kid I called and we walked him into the bulls standing guard and killed his with one shot from a 3006 with 150gr power point.

Awesome Cam.  I see them all the time when I am up there chasing moose.  Hopefully one day I get the draw. :'(
