The more I see, the worse I want one. Maybe next year, the wife wants to get an elk for herself this year so that will take up my hunting holidays for this year. Oh well keep her happy I guess.

Back in my distant past, a friend and I had the fortune of taking the ram but it hangs in his house $:-\$ . It was a great time and after many years I am back into the mountains again trying to increase the odds of harvesting one of my own.

For now I'll just keep hunting! I wont get out for opener this year due to a goat hunt but hoping the last week of October will work out for me!

JC, Gonna do some fishing if those rams stay there all season again?

Yah, just guessing, but if it is the same place, I'll be up there this fall to take a few pics. There are some huge rams in the group.

Here's a squeaker that won't live past opening week this year.
