One week in November...
« on: October 24, 2012, 04:19:51 PM »
Just curious as to everyones opinion on the best week of November to hunt whitetails and why.  Last couple of years including this one I've booked the third week off, just because in the past it seems to be the week the bucks you never see show themselves, but I haven't been able to connect with a real biggin yet.

yep.... anytime from the 19th to the 25th or so you can set your watch by when the bucks come hard into the rut...  if your a meat hunter prolly not the best time to shoot a buck.... their testosterone levels are jacked and every muscle in their body is amped and rock hard... plus with that extra testosterone release the muscles use up alot of the fat reserves and you can def taste it in the meat
