Opening day of rifle season in my area today
Got out to my #3 spot because the #1 and #2 spots had trucks in front of them

I started jumping deer as soon as I left the truck and climbed up onto the coulee edges to glass and look for some deer and I spotted this guy about 500 yards below me on the edge of some buck brush.
I slid down on my butt to a better vantage point where I could get a good rest and lay flat prone.
The shot was about 275 yards and the sound of the 120 grain out my Tikka 25 cal made a loud slap as it hit him in the chest.

The rest is history.

You'll have to shovel another path to get back to the house. Not loving it quite as much. We have to take the kids out hunting with us and that is not as doable in a snow storm. Still wanting to fill my cow moose tag.
