Got er done first thing this morning. This dude popped out on the line at 200 yds when I bugled, took a few steps towards us & stopped. I chirped at him and he took a few more steps & stopped. Chirped at him again, he growled then ran 200 yds right to us. He stopped perfectly broadside at 6 yards and the rest is history lol.

Ive been dead set against mechanical broadheads since they first came out. This year I let myself get talked into trying Rage for a season. Holy cow what a hole! It plowed through both shoulders and kept on going. I am very impressed.

Get out there and get after em fellas. Between me and 2 of my buddies that were also out this morning there was a grand total of 4 opportunities at legal bulls. This is my 2nd year of hunting the early archery opener and Im kickin myself for not tryin it sooner. The temperature is a bit of a challenge but no big deal if your prepared for it.

If any of you guys need cooler space for a few days I am half an hour South of Slave Lake and have an 8X12 cooler that gonna be vacant as of tomorrow, just gimme a buzz 780-843-5338.
