Great looking birds, congrats.
I wish we had more of them up north here but the winters and predators are just too tough on them.
I think I see a rip in the social fabric, Brother can you spare some ammo?

hey smart ass.  When did you shoot them as you posted that you shot on Saturday. You posted later Saturday.    The Saturday after season closed. So as I asked when and where did you kill the birds.  I hate poachers.

Season here closes Dec 14,  its only 6 weeks from start to finish. Poachers are willing to risk alot but putting the evidence on here in pictures that would be stupid. I am not a poacher,I have worked for the Department Of Justice for 26 years,I know the differance between right and wrong.

not here to stir shit.  To bad you don't like me calling out anybody that I think is breaking laws.  So you go hang out with your new friend big bear and mind your own.

Deputy Sheriff, nice to meet a fellow Nova Scotian. I hunted pheasants in the Chester area in my younger day but never up around the valley. I hear they are plentiful. We did hunt rabbits up in Halls Harbour with our hounds and never did we come home empty handed. Which part of the valley are you from?

Nice roosters, will look forward to seeing your mount!

I live in Wolfville and hunt birds around Port Williams. Was born in Medicine Hat and moved to Nova Scotia in 1986 worked in a correctional center for 16 years , then Sheriff's Department. Hope to retire back in Alberta, so thought it would be interesting to hear what has changed and what is new. Have shot some antelope ,black bear and both kinds of deer. Alberta is a hunter's paradise and hope to hunt elk whenever I return. Also love moose hunting, but for some reason find upland bird hunting relaxing. So far this forum is full of interesting people and great pictures.

Will do, drank some beer there , long time ago.Back then they had their own Police and the German Harmony Club I believe . Also some big rattlesnakes at the golf course. Maybe the guy that lives by the brick factory still has his Studebaker truck. Thanks for the offer.
