Couple of great antelope, and I really like that mount. Can't quite tell is it a wall ped, or on a stand of some kind?
Thanks Darren.
Its a small pedastal where the bottom of the form sits just on top of the base.

That buck is sweet!!  Never seen a curl like that before!

thanks rack. as i mentioned before i've never seen another quite the same. very symmetrical. the horns curve straight back but then turn in again kinda like a fish hook, so they don't hide themselves.

A couple Alberta goat I have mounted the last few years

The one with the buckle was taken by a good friend that passed away from cancer before he got to see it done up
we did it as a tribute to a great guy and gave it to his wife

crazy goats...... they'll try to use what little cover they have out there on the prairie. if it wasn't for them darn horns, you probably would have never spotted him behind that rock! indeed a cool pic buff.

lol....   It was the other way around. Saw the guy coming from 1000 yards, so I hunkered down behind the rock and took him at 17 paces.

Here is my one and only Antelope. Drew the tag, didnt have a clue how or where to start hunting these critters so the guy that taught me everything I know on hunting and the outdoors, my Step Dad and I headed down towards Jenner to try and get some permision and possible put a tag on a decent goat. We found this goat on a small chunk of land we were lucky enough to get permision on and planned on making a play opening morning. Well as daylight broke my guide(a little different than his 50yrs of guiding sheep and mountain animals) and I were pretty bummed as the whole area the goat was in had a whole blanket of fog. We toured around a bit waiting for it to lift and saw some other decent goats and a couple that would have probably scored better but didnt have the heart shape curl that I wanted, the were alot longer but didnt cuvre much. Anyways once the fog lifted a bit I headed out to try and stalk this guy. I got within 150yrds and layed my old Pre 64 30-06(now the host action on my .280AI) on my pack and let fly. I missed him clean first shot but layed him in his tracks on the second. Ended up at 73".

Here is the end product,

First with my mentor

Second with myself

Third on the wall

Can wait till the next hunt! Hope I have the same guide.

I hunt sheep to see over the next mountain not to measure the next trophy!

Have not discovered how to take pics with a IPad . And it looks  bigger this way when your laying in bed.

Oh oh, I can play on this one!

I *really* had missed a beaut the day before ;) This was my last chance to get out, so took this guy. He was pretty banged up, but tasted good :) It was also a memorable hunt as my then 17 month old came along on Joel's back. Wish we'd gotten pics of that :(
