Can't say I do Weste but you would think so, some of those convictions are 2, 3 years old now.

Thanks for the post Tuc.

I went to the local newspaper called the Edson Leader for more information on the trial.

All they had were stories relating to the original case in 2013.

Hmmm????

Those sentences should hurt a little.  Not sure its enough but it will at least get their attention.

Yup it's gonna hurt big time for that 20 year old and he only has himself to blame.

agreed.  Although i am not sure hunting bans mean much to this type of poacher.  They dont respect rules and wildlife anyway.

Yeah I'm glad they got hit in the pocket book.  Probably the only thing these pin heads feel.

Maybe not but I bet the next time they will get some serious jail time. Nice to see the penalties getting stiffer! (ouch)

Love seeing those life time bans...

Should come with a condition that if they are ever caught hunting it's automatic jail time.

Criminal ......makes you hope there are a couple of biker
Type PETA members in the general population . So they get
A beating every day just to keep the experience fresh.
These are all country people , likely meth heads , there
Is some crazy shit going on in those small country towns .
   I didn't notice any firearms offences .

Sometimes when it's younger kids ( 15 - 17 ) I am one for forgiving and not persecuting them to the bone, but these weren't kids these were some older guys that darn well knew better.
