My dog is 7 this year and has started to slow down a bit. When he was younger I hardly saw him while hunting grouse. He would range 5 to 6 hundred yards while hunting huns witch was perfect but in the bush made for some scary moments wondering if I would get him back or not. I have a English pointer coming out of the eastern US from a breeder that uses them heavily on grouse. I think there is a gps tracker coller in my future.
