seems everyone has a theory and an inner circle.  given that the only two people who know what we did, thought or talked about are me and my hunting partner.....thats all you can have is more theory.  interesting one for sure.

its been pointed out that all i really had to say was these rams werent what i was looking for so we passed and nobody would have questioned it.  well, that would be a flat out lie.  another story would be to say that we found these guys on the edge of a park and they didnt come out.  another good story, but another lie.  im aware that guys will be poiting and laughing that i gave up and just didnt have it in me to get them out.  oh well, it is what it is.  im not making excuses for it....i didnt have time to get my arse in shape and it cost me a ram. boohoo for me.

as for your last line..... ;D......of course i left out some details and a bunch more pictures.  cant be giving that stuff away for free.

Inner circles are interlinked. If you are to believed, I guess another of your hunting buds is a liar.  :o

Imagine packing in 30k to be the first on the rams, then some other guys show up late, Not only do these late arrivals not give the normal courtesy and back out, they expose themselves to the rams and blow the sheep out of the valley....

You two were not the only ones there, remember the hunters you squatted on.  ;)

Oh oh... The plot thickens... Sounds almost like interfering with a lawful hunt......

Things have taken a bit of a turn here. Like was stated I hope it isn't true. Many thought there is more to the story and maybe there is and maybe its starting to come out or maybe its just a rumor floating around but without discusions like this and maybe the odd argument, issues like this will never be brought forth and if like potentially  in this case there was unethical acts then it will hopefully discourage people from doing it as they know they get caught at it. But like Ive stated many times some heated argumentative discussion can produce good outcomes. If in this case it is true all that would have ever been said is nice pics instead of possibly getting some potensial wrongful acts straightened out.

im seriously thinking about selling my guns, bows and gear.  i dont have to hunt at all.  just post a pic on the inetrweb and let everyone else tell me what i did or didnt do and how much fun i did or didnt have.

tell ya what....i went bowhunting last weekend.  why dont you guys tell me all about what i did and what i saw. its way less work and cost than actually going to do anything myself.   ::)  just be sure to include details as those are the best memories.....

Here's something for ya to think about Bambi. I posted a pic this spring of a whitetail that I said would possibly be one to watch. Seems to me two guys took it uppon themselves to scutinize my ideas and my pic. If I remember correct one of them guys was yourself!! The other has pretty much cowarded in the corner after commenting on that thread. Both you comment hypothetically on unprooven facts. Funny how that now the shoe is on the other foot its not acceptable in your eyes! All Ill say now is what goes around comes around and you are getting exactly what is coming back at you Bambi!! You have delt negative things to many many people out there and many are sounding back! Enjoy yourself and I look forward to the rest of this story coming out!!!
Cheers Bud and look forward to the next phone call! Im sure it would be a better discussion over a beer!

Your right Justin lets all hug be friends and agree on everything and complement each other on how wonderful we all are! Diagreements are going to happen, arguments are going to happen. Sure sometimes it goes a little far but as long as its a public forum that will never go away!!! And anyone that thinks it will are completely dilusional!!! Calling someone a liar with no proof is low and uncalled for but is going to happen from time to time. You could have a forum with all your best friends and eventually you will have a confrontational disagreement, add in a bunch of strangers and it just ups the odds of it happening. Its not childish or acting like spoiled brats its just human nature!!!! And everyone is guilty of it and im sure you will be again before to long!!!

The childish ones are the ones that take it to heart and hold grudges and cant move on after something is said via the internet!!!

Don't worry it will happen.  ;).  I will have at least have one more post for this thread soon enough too.

Also I know dale can handle his own Darcy.  I was ok till I think I was called a liar for something I suposably said.
Yes I don't agree with calling someone an outright liar. And if someone does have reason to don't do it without proof and don't just jump in post it and leave. You best explain yourself!!!  So yes I do see what your saying there!!

Been out for elk 3 days now man it's been warm they sure aren't moving. Been trying to stay close to water but haven't heard anything calling I'm thinking they are laying pretty low and must be near the end of the rut.

Maybe Bambi post up a few pics of your camp and your gear and those with more experience in backpacking can help you be more prepared for the next time. Lots of pics a guy can post and not reveal anything. Would love to see some trip pics! Always cool to see any pics of mountain adventures!

I'd too would love to see pics of camp, or the hike in and equipement  used during the trip.

Also Isb said only him and his hunting buddy what happened, but what about the other guys he mentioned that beat them up there???

It was quite the weekend, this weather is just incredible, I finally got a chance to chase some birds. Really good numbers of partridge in our neck of the woods, even flushed a couple of ruffies. The geese are really starting to pile up in some fields. Looking forward to hitting some fields for Sharpy's next week and might even get to hit the mountains the end of this week for a couple of days. Hopefully it gets a little cooler. 8) 8)

Once a guy gets back in the bush seeing a fair number of ruffies. Just in camp for lunch heading back out going to work a narrow creek back in and stay close to the water

Let's keep this thread on track! Start your own thread if you want to talk about the hot weather and game.  ;)

I have been looking for this ISB fan club/ following, that keeps getting spoken of and I can't quite find it? Oh well I'll keep googling away.

Elk in my area are still going strong. Hopefully I can close the deal this weekend.
