Any way you could send me up a disk of the pics you have buddy?  I just got the rest of them into my buddy to put them on my website and if you got any more I can get them up as well.
Thanks

Great pics guys.  I may have to try and chase some birds in December when i get some time.  Any suggestions on a call?  I am assuming 'Here Goosy goosy'  wont work. LOL  Funny enough I actually have a couple dozen decoys, have just never tried to call them in myself.

Thanks

Weste, for geese a short reed call is the best.  That being said it is the most difficult to use.  They take a lot of practice and can make all kinds of sounds.  They are not needed though and for the average guy it is not important to have a call like that.  You need to find a basic flute style call as a first one I would think.  It will allow you to make the basic honk and most important cluck sounds.  If you can make the honk and cluck sounds it will help a lot and you can move on to the short reed later on if you really want to spend the time on it.
Price wise Haydels calls are hard to beat for price and sound.  Check out his website and send Rod an e-mail.  He is a good friend of mine and tell him Phil from Alberta said to ask what call to buy.  He will let you know what the best one is for a starter like yourself and probably give you some pointers on how to blow it.  He has a few instructional videos as well which might help out.  Let me know if I can help out in any other way
