Agreed to a point guys  but if the site ran top notch we would have had to click in just the right place at exactly the right time.  either way the odds would still be the same IMO.

Only read one real good post on another site and after this calamity I would tend to agree with him.  Basically what he said was the solders should have had first dibs at tags yes I understand there my elk too but these guys at least deserve something.

A tag pic was sent to me and the time stamp on it is 09:13

I am not complaining about getting a tag.  There were people that should have that got the poke cause of the flawd system.  I will get my muzzle loader tag and still hope to fill my general tag.  Just would have been nice to have seen inside the chain link fence.  To all that got a tag don't screw it up for a future hunt for the rest of us.  Heck I still mite have a chance at a bull tag in the base.   :D

Yup that’s why I applied as well would have been interesting to say the least.  And I think I might have been one of the guys screwed over

Enjoy Roger the CO on your elk hunt Justin I am sure his blood pressure is down now that I don’t live down there anymore.

With some luck this will become a regular draw season hunt.  Hope it goes off well and that is the result.

My son got a tag for the second season, looking forward to being the driver. Lol.. I had 2 computers and my iPhone going trying to get a couple tags, and the only one that never got booted out was the iPhone, it would take longer to go from screen to screen but never got booted out of the site.. Look like I will be applying for all these types of hunts with an iPhone from now on.
