Hunter Returns to Find Truck Full of Bullet Holes

Turner Valley, Alberta – Shortly before 11:00 AM, Saturday November 9, 2013 Turner Valley RCMPOLICE received a call from Alberta Conservation Officers, reporting mischief to a vehicle at the Sentinal day use area. The owner advised he was out hunting in the area. When he returned to his vehicle he noticed what he believed to be multiple bullet holes in it. Police attended and examined the vehicle.
A lead fragment which resembles part of a bullet was seized from within the cab of the vehicle.
At this time police are looking to speak to anybody who was hunting or camping in the Sentinal Day use area on November 8 and 9, 2013. Specifically police are looking to speak to a couple who were camping in the area on those dates. They are described as early 50′s, with a 2001-2006 Chevrolet Silverado truck, greyish brown in color and towing a 20-24 foot travel trailer. The Sentinal day use area is located approximately 60 kilometers south west of Turner Valley on Highway 541.
