I would be shaken like a sinner on judgment day trying to hold on any one of them lol.. I wouldn't hesitate on any of these.

We are switching to a 2 on 2 off at work for a spell so this should give me more time to hunt this fall. I hope to join my son down south for a few days of archery mule deer mid Sept,, heres to hoping..

Those are beauties, I would have a heart attack if I saw those in my sights. Hopefully next year when I burn up my P10 some where or south. I gotta really figure it out

Geez some nice animals there boys.. I usually see those when I don't have a gun or a tag. No sooner you get a tag and a gun,, they disappear lol..

Wow very nice.  I am sitting at P5 on Trophy Mule Deer.  Have not starting scouting for that trip yet but will be looking for some help when I do.  What priority does a guy need to get too to get into a decent area for Big Buck potential.

P5 will get you most areas of the south .  302 might be more but i would stick the 100's anyway.

Takes a minimum 7 for 134.  Wmu 104 is one I've been long considering hunting.

The main thing that draws me to the north is a guy can make it a combo hunt. With the right planning a group can make it an Elk/Muly hunt. The Elk in some of these northern zones is getting insane. Getting permission to hunt land n most areas isn't a problem and you always have the option of a lot of crown land as well.

Welcome to the board.

Just depends on what area you will be hunting in. Some of the farm land can hold some decent bucks,, I wouldn't hold out for a trophy if you want to fill a tag. I spent many years hunting and working in that area and I never did see anything over a 150 muly, not to say they aren't there but certainly not in any great numbers. Some of the south east regions of the zone would be your best bet at a nice one. Along the river and fields can hold some decent animals.  If you are hunting the western edge on a moose hunt I would say shoot the first buck you see cause in all reality it may be the only one you see. There are a few in there but no real hogs but darn those bush bucks out of there are darn good eating deer a real treat.

That is a zone that I own property.  The deer were definitely hit hard a few years ago but last winter was start to recovery.  Hunt hard and you will probably find a decent buck.

I did see a few jaw droppers along the north side of the river before but that was 4-5 years ago!
I'll have to look hard and find a decent survivor!

Son is doing some scouting for us now and lining up permission. We have a few land owners we know well down there and it's never been an issue.

If I had a chance at the scond buck when he was in full velvet I would take him instantly.  Theres just something I love about summer capes and full velvet.
