US Native wins right to hunt in BC
« on: May 03, 2019, 09:53:53 AM »
Hope the link works. Stolen from another site.  American Native comes to BC and shoots an elk, turns himself in to test the law. BC judge grants him the right as his ancestors came up and hunted there. Oh boy.

I'm sure it is headed to the supreme court and I hope the supreme court says no but not holding my breath. Brutal times.

Page not found but I get what you are saying and I think it is effing BS.

That's like saying my ancestors hunted in Europe therefore I have the right to hunt there also.

Yeah we know how that would fly. ::)

I think it's time to do away with special rights for anyone. Are we not all equal? No I guess we are not.

Revelstoke Eh.

Are these the Snake Indians?

Like Snake Indian River.  Like the Snake Indian River Massacre?

OMG. I hope the great Stoney tribe of Alberta does not let these Indians in.

P.S. Talk to any Mountain Stoney. They claim the mountains around Hinton are their country.  Remember, a Stoney is a Stoney. Any other First Nations person on their land is a low life Indian. Especially Cree.  (Source: Campfire coffee chat with ol GreyLynx in the Foothills of Alberta with people of the Stoney Nation.)

That is our lesson for today.

mmmmmm … L&W Special burgers.

The ones in Hinton are good but not as good as the Jasper L&W Special burgers.

I dare say these are the best burgers ever and my ancestors would have loved them.  ;D

What worries  me is that some U.S. citizens proclaiming to be Natives of some sort, will use the Columbia River Drainage as ancestral hunting grounds.  That is not good. The Columbia River starts at the "Committee's Punchbowl" in Jasper Park. Right off the great divide.
Right down to the U.S. border. Complete with all those dams to feed U.S. Hydro. A real sell out by a federal government in Ontario and a provincial government  in B.C.
Who needs those mountain sheep and goats anyway. Eh Justin?
