thanks guys!  Huntings getting harder and harder now, winters are really taking the deer population down out here

I know its always hard to watch the deer herd numbers drop but it because of these types of winters that our deer are bigger bodied and antlered than other places.  Whitetails are resilient and the numbers will be back.

How has the winter been in Manitoba?  I spent a few months in Verden -53 coldest I have ever been.  Nice looking deer

this is the coldest winter iv experienced out here, we had -55 temps for almost a week.  and we have got a ton of snow this year so its not looking to good for the deer.

Holy smokes !! that's fricken cold man..  Yah,, that's going to be tough on the critters, not good for the farmers either they must be going through a whack of feed..
