I've been off since the 12th looking for a good buck. Here are a few pics from the deer blinds.

I'd love to post some more but photobuckets been freezing up on me. Got a pic of a 4 point with a 14" g2 and the other side broken off. An hour after I saw it an american shot it. I also have a few more buck pics , had 8 walk past me yesterday. It's strange that I haven't seen a doe in  days although I did hear an estrous bleat the other day.

Nice pics DW, have you consider taking that buck. He doesn't look to shabby.

I'm looking for something special Tuc , I've got a basement full of so so deer. With an elk in the freezer I'm gonna hold out for a wall hanger.

This guy got shot by an American an hour after I took the pic. His g2 was 14"s

A small 5x4

My bro came up from BC and we spent the day cruising cut blocks. Spotted 6 bucks with one shooter but it didn't pan out. Left my camera at my folks place . I'll update a little more tomorrow.

Well I managed to hold on to my wt tag right to the end. I was just about to wrap up my season and leave my blind when a little buck showed up and was munching on some browse. All of a sudden his head wipped up and he started charging into the old cutblock. Shortly after a little doe came running out in the opposite direction. The little buck came back grunting and chasing her in circles. I figured the big guy would be coming out next and did see a shadow pause just inside the cutblock. Shortly after a little fork buck came out following the trail of the doe. I watched the does trail until dark but it wasn't ment to be. I passed up one regret buck this year, a 7x5 that may have scored in the mid 150's on the 25th. Also had a really nice 5x4 in front of my stand that would have went around 145-150. We got a little more snow than was needed  and I think it slowed the buck movement down and also reduced are access into a couple of great areas. I sure wish our doe population was a little healthier cause  it sure makes the rut a lot more fun to hunt.

Here's to the 2012 season guy's and gal's CHEER'S, Dave.

Another november sunset

A nice 4x4

The green eyed thing???  I was going to say cat at first but after blowing it up a bit now I will say wolf or coyote.

nice work DW.  i was not on the ball in the pic department this year.  when a guy gets old, i think thats what will be treasured most is the pics.  i know i never took enough when i was younger, and then i lost some to a bitter beast in a divorce.   meh.

thanks for sharing.
