Just booked a hunt for New Zealand.  I have to figure out the details but next May or June.  Hunting Tahr, Chamois and Stag.  I might get a couple other critters liek those goats and sheep as well if I don't upgrade the stag.  It is free range hunting as well which is nice.  Tahr is going to be the highlight for me. 
I also plan on a side trip to Australia.  My parents are living in Perth for 2 more years and we are going for a visit with the kids and my wife.  Then I plan on taking my wife over with me to New Zealand.  I'm pumped!!.  It will be pretty wild hiking some of those mountain critters.

Sweet stuff!  Easily one of my higher hunts on my list of hunts I'd like to do one day. 

One day I'll make it over there for a 2 or 3 animal hunt!  I think a Chamois, Tahr, and Fallow would be great, but obviously a stag would be pretty cool to do as well if $$ allowed it.

Congrats! I knew I shouldve been a fireman;). Good luck tho definitely on my bucket list and hopefully shouldn't be too hard to convince the wife since her mom was born there she wants to go visit.

Dude...I've seen how big you are and would imagine that a fully charged garden hose could give you a bit of a ride!!   ;D

Just buggin ya dude, but yep that sounds like one heck of a good excuse to get to NZ one day!!

Right on Nube....My grand daughters mother is from NZ and from a long line of hunters...Lots of deer and sheep on the Island...

GSP , not sure how being a Firefighter has anythig to do with it.  If I had to survive on just that alone I would not be able to do very much and would have to mostly stick to home here. 
Thanks for joining in on the excitement guys.  I am so pumped about the Tahr and chamois.  Fallow deer is also something I want but it gets expensive. 
Here is the info for the outfitt I am going with.  Got to figure out the details now and get deposits in and make it more a reality.

I bet your stoked for this hunt. I checked out the Link you provided, some pretty impressive Stags hey. The Tahr would be my first choice, Stag the second and Chamois third. Their going to look impressive on your wall. Way to go Nube. The landscape itself will be pretty amazing.

I think I will be lucky to be able to afford the taxidermy for a while after next years playing.  I'll have a big bighorn and a massive 200" whitetail this fall to mount first ;D ::)

If I am real brave I might do them myself but I will have to wait and see.  I would love to do a half mounted Tahr.  The coats on them are oustanding.

Looks like an amazing hunt!! Congrats!!  Chasing one of those big stags with my bow creeps into my dreams every once in a while.  LOL  Gonna do Africa first then maybe throw NZ on the bucket list.   :)

Lo9ngest years is right.  2 major trips planed this year months apart.  She is going to be busy.  I'm actually most excited about my Tarh and my Leopard most of all.  Those are my real need to have's ;D
