Was just watching some fishing shows on the tube and a couple guys were fishing in various places in Canada. It got me to thinking why does Alberta have the dumb law that we can only fish with one rod in open water ? where does this dumb law come from and why ? I mean they allow 2 rods on ice why not when trolling open water.. The other day when I was out on Cold Lake after the bite slowed it sure would of been nice to have a couple rods in running a couple different depth to try and find them. I mean really as far as I am concerned its just another one of those dumb laws put in place to entrap people and make more money.We all know there are a few of them in this province can't think of more now but I will..

Sure would be nice to have when hunting in grizzly country.

how about the noise bylaw passed in edmonton for motorcycles??? that is stupid law at its finest... i hear things on the road that are alot louder than most motorcycles... just gives the police a reason to be able to pull bikes over for no reason without being faced with harassment allegations
