Alberta Fire Bans App.
« on: May 30, 2012, 06:14:26 PM »
During the last long weekend I went to the Alberta's gov't website to check if a fireban was present in my area, and found that the site was a real pain to use on my phone.

I spend a couple hours and put together a simple Android app that presents all the fireban info in a simple and quick manner. I thought other people find it useful.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dddurand.firebans&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImRkZHVyYW5kLmZpcmViYW5zIl0.

It pulls it's data from the alberta gov't fireban site. If there is a fire ban or notice posted for edmonton, or anywhere else in alberta it will show up in that list.

Does it work through an RSS feed Dusty?
