Arctic spec trailer
« on: January 15, 2012, 12:37:26 PM »
Just finished this for a customer, it's an arctic spec doghouse/office trailer, 14000 lb axles, guys taking it to Fort Nelson. All R20 walls, roof, floor, slide out honda 3000 genset, 80 amp charge system on dual deep cycle 6 volts in series, 40000 btu propane furnace, dual 100 lb propane, can fit a quad/side by side in the back slide out ramps. LED work lights all around. Full 8 foot inside, 120 VAC power. He asked for an XM satellite stereo and some other addons. Would like to build smaller one for cold weather camping with fold down bunks and a slide out.

Great looking little unit. Looks like it is built to last not like the retail stuff that is out there. I am sure the guy is more than pleased with it.. Good stuff paul..

That is a sweet looking rig.

Would it be possible to build a rig like that to fit a 17 foot aluminum boat rig inside? Maybe some how build most of the stuff to fold away or would it just cost way to much? Would be sweet to have a trailer that you could tow just one rig instead of a 5th wheel with a boat behind it.
