I had trouble getting the right size on my Avatar pic. The one I have is the only one that fits and supposedly photobucket is suposed to resize it for you but it did not work so that is what I am stuck with.
Not sure on loading faster but I am sure if you PM PAUL on here he will help you through it all as he seems to know more about this stuff than I do.

W101 click your username, then modify profile, then in the drop down there select forum profile, from there you can add an Avatar. Also we have had very few reports of slow loading other than 1 other guy, can you tell me what browser you use, what operating system and where you are located?

Same problem, Xplornet high speed wireless, Windows 7, I.E.9!
Seems like click and wait most of the time, then every once and a while it loads "BANG", instant on. Hit the refresh and at least the last few times, it went to a white screen, I even had time to get up and micro a cup of instant coffee.

Well guys the only way to ascertain what is causing slow loading times is by the process of elimination. We had one other member (now former member) complain about load times but he was not willing to work with me to solve the issue, so I wasn't able to get to the bottom of it. What I would ask you to do is download Google Chrome or Firefox and test with one of these alternates. By doing so I can eliminate a potential browser issue. If you don't want to use these browsers after you can uninstall them. If you guys are willing to work with me on this I can look into any potential issues.
