Wish I could say the same for the Riders...

Some key players lost on offence and a defence that's just plain lost.

i laughed pretty hard man sports center before the sask eskies game and they talked how damian durant worked all off season on accuracy and reads so he could cut down on his interceptions and he threw three in the eskies game haha ! i also feel bad for sask but at the same time thanking them for taking richie hall off our hands

I'm not a fan of football myself but My cousin is the leading reciever ever in the CFL and I think got a pile of awards for it.  He retired last year from the Alluetes.  Probably should have watched more.

I also spent a few hours yesterday with Jason Mass.  He is a friend of mine and I have hunted with him a fair bit.  He is going on his first sheep hunt this season and I am helping him get a list of things to take and he plans on bringing over a couple maps of wilmore for me to put the X's on for him.  I sure hope he gets one and he has a real good chance.  I must say that he is the most determined guy I know when he wants to get something done.  He is in great shape as well and a great guy all round.  My cousin was like that and I assume most CFL players are.  They have to be to be at the top of the list and play in a sport like that.

How they could think he could be their D coordinator after the horrible mess that he ran with the Eskimos.  Maybe the Riders sent him to ther Esks to sabotage us for a few years?   It's good that chapter is finally over and Kavis Reed is doing a great job so far.

Shes a long season boys but if the first 2 games are any condition of how the green and gold are gonna play this year . The one thing that I really like to see is that they are solid in the trenches , if they can just stay healthy and keep it up we will be a championship team , Ricky Ray is on fire . So many options for him down field .

I often wondered if he wass your cousin nube . PRetty cool .

Yes its looking good for my Eskies a heck of a start. I would say another 8 wins and a playoff spot should be locked up after that its anybody's game. Looks like they may have a front line thats giving Ricky a chance to play the ball. Its been painful the last couple years having the best quarter back in the league laying on his ass all the time and not being able to get the numbers on the board hopefully thats changed..

Any rate yah its looking good..

Nube,, thats pretty cool that your a cousin to Ben Cahoon one of my favorite players for sure.. No matter who they play for I am always behind our Canadian boys.. We may not have the quarter backs in this country but we consistently put out good receivers and running backs. And ben was one of the best of the best no doubt.. I'm glad to hear that Mass is a hunter he is a nice fellow. Met him a wjile back at a football camp our oldest boy was in. It was a quarter back camp put on by the Golden Bears and Jason was one of the instructors a heck of a nice guy you could tell he really cared..

Ya , Sorry i put NFL and not CFL.  Shows you how much i keep up on it. ;D
Yes Jason is a great guy.  I have hunted with him enough to know that when he wants to do something he does it right and as best he can.  He said yesterday that he is just running his business and he plans to get soem serious hunting in which he usually had trouble with in the past because of his football.  He mostly Bow hunts and becaue he lives in the Park he can hunt the Bowzone here and there around his schedule.  Now he is free I think he will be a killing machine the next little while.  He does quite well for a guy that has not had a lot of years doing it.  Helped him pack out a moose last year and that boy sure could carry a good load of meat back to the truck.

Not sure why you would be Jelous.  Sure it is nice to be friends with soemone that is well known but it doesn't make me feel special in any way.  He is a great guy all round and a better person than a lot of people that I have met in my life.

agreed when i started playing football at the highschool im at now i must of had a 2 hour conversation with zabranski before he left and i mean it was the most inspiring conversation ever! i swear didn't only change my game but how i think in general! playing football changes peoples lives in the greatest of ways but the only thing i find that comes close to how interesting it is to play the game is listing to the storys players have to tell. and i mean watching maas a couple years ago take the eskies to playoffs while ricky ray was benched was amazing! and then watching him take a seat when ricky ray threw the 3 interceptions in our playoff game must of givin him some conflicted thoughts. i watch interveiws and the show americas game all the time because hearing these storys about the feild just inspires so much! educates people so much as well that i mean just haveing someone like maas as a friend and listing to his storys of practice brother hood on the feild and simple gameplay would just fascinate me ! thats why im jealous
