Just curious how most people are inclined to buy stuff. I realize people shop multiple ways so the poll is set up that you can make multiple selections.

Good poll boys.

Personely I try as best to keep my money at home.. First and foremost I will try and give a sale to a local shop but if their prices are way out to lunch I go to Wholesale. I don't mind paying a bit more for items at the local shop its whats its about but if the price is outrageous then well sorry. Bout the only time I go into the yank stores is if its something Wholesale doesn't have which really doesn't happen that often,, or just to have a look around..

Out of the choices given, usually Cabelas USA.

But, overall I would say I buy more from other places, online message boards, online shopping, etc. and have it mailed to my address in the USA.  I save A LOT more than buying up here and get things super quick.

I try to buy locally, clothes and boots but when it comes to reloading and bullet casting I buy out of the States.

Mostly done online out of the U.S. I would support Canadian but I can't when the Canadians want to gouge you every chance they get and blame it on import or shipping, taxes and whatever.  Sorry but price rules to me.  We don't have to have Canadian anything priced like it is.  You should see the face on the guys from the U.S when they buy a case of beer up here.
I will say that if the price was pretty close and the dollar was even then I would buy here but the fact is that you can order the stuff from the U.S and save 20-30%.  There are more deals there and shipping is free most times in the U.S.
I spent $50 and got a P.O box in Montana.  Family lives close by so they can pick it up stuff now and again for me and we are down there enough that we wait to order stuff when we go.  It has saved us a pile of money.

I agree with nube on this

would like to buy locally or within canada if I can and I have for some stuff.
But the price saving, service, and availability through the US is a little too good to pass up at times

I go to local retailers or wholesale simply because it is convenient for me and I don't spend a ton.  I live 10 minutes from Wholesale so I go there the most but it is not because of their prices or service.  You won't see me in much camo.  I'm that guy with the old wore out gear.....lol.
I think I see a rip in the social fabric, Brother can you spare some ammo?

You forgot one choice. Online direct from the manufacturer !
If Jimbow's in Calgary doesn't have it, or can get it I always buy direct !

Aggreed POTTY, I get my bird stuff mostly straight from Avery.  They have the outfitter program that saves me a ton.  I can get FFD goose decoys for $179 compared to over $220 retail per half dozen.  Makes a big difference when you order 8 dozen at a time.
